BS476-6 Fire Spread Index Tester
Introduction:BS 476-6 test method is a method for measuring the flame propagation performance of materials. It is mainly used to evaluate the fire resistance of wall and ceiling lining. The test results are expressed as flame propagation index.During the test, the specimen was exposed to a tubular blowtorch with a heat release of 530J/ m2.2 minutes and 45 seconds after the test, adjust the total power of the two electric heaters to 1800 watts, reduce the power to 1500 watts when the test is 5 minutes, then maintain the power unchanged until the end of the test, and the total test time is 20 minutes.
