BS476-7 Flame Spread Index Tester For Building MaterialIntroduction:
The surface flame propagation test device is BS 6853 series high speed rail flame retardancy test instrument, suitable for British building materials and high speed rail flame retardancy test standard, conforming to BS 476-7. This test method is used to measure the lateral extension of the sample surface and determine the combustion grade based on the velocity and extension length.BS 476-7 is primarily used for the determination of flame extension on exposed surfaces of walls and suspended ceilings.
The test method is to measure the critical radiation flux of the sample by igniting the sample with a small flame under the gradual change of radiant heat energy.The size of the thermal radiation plate is 850mm X 850mm. The test sample bracket is water-cooled and equipped with porous calibration plate and thermal radiation flux sensor to calibrate the thermal radiation flux curve.The test instrument has a higher requirement on the laboratory site, and users need to have more safety measures to assemble the test instrument.
