7.Flash point value: If the difference between the observed flash point and the initial ignition temperature is less than 18ºC, then the result is invalid. In this condition,new specimens should be replaced and re-determined, and the initial ignition temperature should be adjusted until the effective results are achieved. That means the flash point value should be higher than the initial ignition temperature by more than 18ºC.
