Introduction:

Foaming of lubricating oils in applications involving turbulence, high speed gearing or high volume pumping can cause inadequate lubrication, cavitation, overflow and premature oxidation.The standard ASTM D6082 describes the procedure for determining the foaming characteristics of lubricating oils (specifically transmission fluid and motor oil) at 150ºC.


Functional Characteristics:
