XHGG502 multiple pulse cable fault locator is for detect the power cable fault such as high resistance leakage fault, flashover fault and low resistance to the ground fault and open circuit fault.
XHGG502 multiple pulse cable fault locator is controlled by a built-in industrial grade computer with a Windows-XP system, 12.1 inch TFT color display screen, and protective storage box design. The instrument is moisture proof and dustproof casing. When the machine is under high voltage current method, it can generate two groups of pulse waveforms which are eight pulses waveform of fault detecting and eight pulse waveforms of total cable length detecting. We can get the sixteen measuring pulse waveforms. So the operator can analyze the waveform easily. The operator can select a good waveform from eight wave forms to analyze. Multiple pulse method let a complicated high voltage flashover waveform to become a simple waveform like a short circuit fault waveform and more waveforms to analyze. XHGG502 is easy to operate. The operator who is not experienced and professional can easily analyze and determine the cable fault point also, which improves test efficiency of cable fault locating and found the cable fault point successfully.
