Product Description

BS EN 13823 Building Products Fire Test Single Burning Item SBI
Introduction:

1. The whole system includes a combustion chamber, a control room, a trolley,  smoke exhaust pipes, data collection and analysis device, and gas supply control device.
2. The test was carried out in a 2.4 m high,  3 m*3 m combustion chamber.
3. Specimen is mounted on the trolley, there are two vertical non-combustible plates installed on the trolley.
4. The fire source is a 31 kW propane right-angle sandbox burner (250 mm long and 80 mm high) placed in a vertical corner of the trolley.
5. There is a gas collecting hood and smoke exhaust pipes which connected to sampling pipes on the top of the room, and there is space for air in and out at the bottom of the trolley.
6. During the test, heat released from the burning specimen and the burned specimen are discharged from the exhaust pipes.
7. An integrated sampling area is provided in the exhaust pipes for placing the sensor and the sampling tubes, which can detect the gas temperature, concentration of combustion-releasing compound, oxygen concentration, light attenuation of flue gas and total flow of air and combustion products, etc.
